First international action against immigration detention

8 April 2006

The first annual international action against immigration detention will be held in April 2006 in countries around the world. There will be events in the UK throughout April.

For more information email: noborderslondon@riseup.net. Directions: By Underground - Piccadilly line to Heathrow Terminals 1, 2 and 3. By Bus - from Heathrow - take bus number U3 and alight at the first stop as it turns into Hatch Lane. Then walk back to the main road and turn right and continue past the Sheraton Hotel, which is next door to the removal centre. It is a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Alternatively the Heathrow Hopper operates from Heathrow Terminals to the Sheraton Hotel, which is next door to the removal centre. From Hounslow - take the 81 Bus from Hounslow West and get off at the bus stop at the back of McDonalds. Then walk though the alleyway to the main road and cross the road - Harmondsworth is directly in front of you. It is a 5 minutes walk from the bus stop. By Road - from the M25 exit at junction 14, onto the A3113 (Airport Way). Follow this road till you reach a roundabout and turn left onto the A3004 (Stanwell Moor Road). At the next roundabout, drive straight ahead. At the next junction turn right into Colnbrook-By-Pass. Harmondsworth is the first on the left. From the M4, exit at Junction 5, onto the A4 heading towards Heathrow Terminals 1, 2 and 3. A quarter of a mile past the junction of the A3044 turn left. Harmondsworth is on your left hand side.
