Black History Collection lunchtime seminar

Come and find out what's been happening to the Institute's Black History Collection from the people who have been working on it.

Speakers:

  • Hazel Waters, IRR librarian and editor of Race & Class talks about how the collection was acquired
  • Rosie Wild, Project Worker, talks about the historical significance of the collection and its highlights
  • Volunteers Franca Harrison, Humaa Akram, Rebecca Wood and Barbara Jackson explain why they volunteered to work on the collection, what the project means to them and what they have discovered during the course of their involvement
