How can I listen to audio on the IRR site?

Download the free RealPlayer software from RealNetworks to get audio capability.

What is a pdf file?

Some reports and publications on this site are only available for download in 'pdf' format. This allows for easy printing of multiple-page documents. In order to open pdf files, download the free Acrobat Reader software from Adobe.

What is an RSS file?

RSS is a file format for syndicating news. Newsreader programmes are available which work in this format. IRR News provides one RSS news feed - you can copy the link from here:

Why do I get asked if I am sharing my computer with other users?

Some sections of the site require you to log in with your email address and a password. To save you having to do this every time you go in to one of these sections, we have provided an option for the email address and password to be stored on your computer, so that you can access these sections automatically. However, if you are using a shared computer (for example, in an internet cafe or college computer room), then you will not want to store these details on the computer, as they will give others access to your private details.
