AI has produced a report detailing police ill-treatment of three Roma, all minors from Turgu-Mures.

Gheorghe Notar Jr, Ioan Otvös and Rupi Stoica were allegedly beaten and then held in custody for five days in the Centre for the Protection of Minors where they were interrogated without their parents or lawyers being present. Medical treatment was denied. AI also states that the parents of the minors were harassed after making a complaint to military prosecutors.
