Russian police victimise ethnic minorities from Caucasus

The treatment of ethnic minorities from the Caucasus by police officers from the Russian Federation has become an issue of concern for AI.

In one incident, Artem Arutyunyan, of Armenian ethnic origin, was allegedly hung from the ceiling by handcuffs and beaten on the chest in an effort to force a confession.
